Ingredients of Homemade Cheese
- It's 5 liters of full_fat milk.
- Prepare 10 of table spoons vinegar.
- You need 2 of tea spoons salt.
- Prepare 2 of table spoons chia seeds.
Homemade Cheese instructions
- Note: I do recommend to use fresh full_fat milk from farms. The pasteurized supermarkets milk won’t give a yummy cheese plus 5 liters of milk turns into a very small piece of cheese.
- In a big pot bring the milk to the boiling point.
- Add vinegar to the milk.
- Continue boiling for about 5 minutes, in the video you can see the water and other elements in milk separate.
- Spread a piece of clean kitchen handkerchief in a strainer, pour the milk inside it and leave until all the water is strained.
- Add salt and chia seed then mix well.
- Cover it and put a heavy weight on top of it and leave overnight until all the water is strained and cheese is shaped.
- Put the cheese in a container and leave it in the fridge for some hours to cool down.
